We are a small, family-run organisation offering English language courses in the heart of the West Country. Set in two acres of gardens, our 19th century premises are surrounded by the beautiful English countryside, giving our students the perfect opportunity to study in peace and quiet.
All our classes are currently taught by a qualified (Oxford Trinity TESOL Cert.) teacher with a degree in Linguistics from University College London and a passion for the English language. But your teacher is not the only one you will be learning from! We strongly believe that to learn English well and really see results, students need a great deal of input outside of classes. This is why we have created an environment that is more like a home than a school; we want our students to feel comfortable and happy here, and have the opportunity to practise conversation outside of lessons with people who are adept at helping others learn English.
We also want our students to have fun and see some of England whilst they are with us, so we arrange a variety of activities and excursions, allowing lots of extra English practice! Have a look at our Excursions page for more details.
